Your Feedback Is Important To Us! Leave A Review!

Dear Wire Belt Customers, As mentioned in our initial announcement on 5th March 2020, we have and will continue to carefully monitor ongoing developments with regards to the COVID-19 outbreak around the world. We are also continuing to closely monitor changes in policies and restrictions at the local, national, and international level.

At Wire Belt Company we understand the importance of maintaining supply continuity for our customers in the global food supply chain and recognise that your company plays an important role in this supply chain as well.

As such, we wanted to share the following steps that we are maintaining to ensure supply continuity.

  • Wire Belt’s manufacturing facility in Sittingbourne, Kent, UK was identified, at the beginning of the pandemic, as a Key Worker under the following Government guidelines:
  • Food and Other necessary goods
  • Those involved in food production, processing, distribution, sale, and delivery as well as those essential to the provision of other key goods (for example hygienic and veterinary medicines).

We produce essential equipment and spares for the processing, packaging, production, maintenance, and repair of equipment serving the food and pharmaceutical industries and have therefore remained open throughout the pandemic.  We will continue to remain open unless circumstances change.

  • A detailed risk assessment specifically for COVID-19 was carried out in March 2020. This is reviewed and updated on a regular basis and the latest version can be found on our website.
  • We still have ample stocks of raw material and parts to maintain our current level of supply going forward.
  • Many of our office personnel continue to work from home.
  • We are confident that we can continue to respond to your needs during these uncertain times to ensure you receive your quotes and orders in a timely manner.
  • Our facilities are frequently cleaned, and sanitised and additional hand sanitation stations are positioned in strategic locations throughout the building. Informational signage, regarding hand washing, and COVID-19 symptom recognition is regularly updated along with the latest government news and guidance and is posted conspicuously throughout the facilities.
  • Our field-based sales team are all working and can continue to be reached through the normal channels.
  • We are communicating frequently with all employees, the importance of staying at home if they show any symptoms at all.
  • No visitors or contractors are allowed to enter our building without prior authorisation by a member of the Wire Belt Management Team.

Wire Belt views our responsibility to meet the needs of our customers as one of our highest priorities only second to our commitment to safety.  Please stay safe and contact us with any questions or issues that could affect our continued ability to support production during these ongoing uncertain times.

Thank you once again for your continued support.
